The Margate Homeowners Association is sponsoring a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) class aimed at providing non-medical individuals an opportunity to learn life-saving skills.
The CPR class will cover emergency response skills including Adult and Child CPR, as well as how to assist someone who is choking. There will also be instruction on the use of an AED defibrillator, a device that uses electric shock to a person who is having a heart attack.
The class is offered in association with the American Red Cross.
The 90-minute session is scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 10:30 am at Beth El Synagogue, 500 North Jerome Ave. in Margate.
It is open to the public and is limited to 16 participants. The cost is $20, with a discounted cost of $10 for members of the Margate Homeowners Association. To register, point your browser to https://margatehomeowners.com/cpr-class/
