Please be advised that deadlines for two NJ Tax Relief Programs, the ANCHOR Program (see https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/anchor/index.shtml) and the Senior Freeze Program (see https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/index.shtml) are approaching.
The ANCHOR Program provides property tax relief to eligible New Jersey residents who owned or rented their principal residence (main home) on October 1, 2019, and met designated income limits. Application deadline is December 30, 2022.
The Senior Freeze Program reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for property tax or mobile home park site fee increases on their principal residence (main home). To qualify, you must meet all the eligibility requirements for each year from the base year through the application year. You can still file for the 2021 Senior Freeze. The deadline for 2021 applications is October 31, 2022.
